About this role

The Synergy Infrastructure Product Manager plays a critical role in driving the HPE Synergy business. This role defines and executes the vision and strategy for the infrastructure segment, working closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and support teams. It ensures product alignment, quality, and customer satisfaction in a hybrid setup averaging 2 days per week in an HPE office.

Leads the end-to-end strategy and operational product roadmap for Synergy products. Defines value proposition, target customer segments, and business case aligned with company portfolio including revenue, margins, and market share. Synthesizes market requirements into marketing details through intimate customer and industry knowledge.

Advises stakeholders on portfolio strategy across lifecycle phases from planning to exit. Creates goal alignment and collaborates across value chain partners like engineering, supply chain, and marketing. Optimizes margins through product development, SKUs, inventory, pricing, and go-to-market plans.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product management work experience
  • Strong technical understanding and knowledge of the IT industry, primarily hardware
  • Strong client-facing experience
  • Expert team skills and ability to cross-functionally drive and influence work through others
  • Expert skills in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis
  • Expert business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection
  • Technical understanding of the IT industry and ability to provide product-specific technical training

Responsibilities

  • Leads and drives the end-to-end strategy and operational product roadmap for Synergy infrastructure products

  • Synthesizes market requirements into marketing and customer details using customer and industry knowledge
  • Advises key stakeholders on portfolio strategy across all lifecycle phases including planning, development, launch, management, and exit
  • Creates and drives goal alignment and collaborates across value chain partners to optimize margins and product success
  • Works with engineering on product development, supply chain on SKUs and inventory, and marketing on pricing and go-to-market plans
