Cloud Architect

The Cloud Architect defines and documents modular, maintainable, and extendible system architectures. This role supports project teams in realizing designs while ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements.

Responsible for defining system architecture to enable effective realization by project teams, you develop and document architectures that decompose systems into modular subsystems and behaviors. Accountable for technical integrity of all discipline designs, you ensure performance, scalability, and security requirements are addressed. You maintain consistency across components and oversee integration, including verification and validation.

Define architectures meeting stakeholder requirements across functions and elicit system needs from marketing and others. Collaborate with project and program management to define scope, work breakdown structures, and planning. Lead multidisciplinary design teams as a source of expertise, acting as the point of contact on architectural matters and advising on make-or-buy decisions.

Contribute to technology and innovation roadmaps by identifying future directions. Support research and development strategies while monitoring activities for strategic alignment. Actively maintain external relationships with R&D institutes, universities, industry partnerships, and standardization bodies.
