The Cybersecurity Department is hands-on, specifying, purchasing, configuring and maintaining hardware with focus on cybersecurity.

The ICS/OT Cybersecurity Engineer audits the Industrial Control System / Operational Technology environment and performs risk/vulnerability assessments. This leads to developing an enterprise strategy/design plan and leading hands-on implementation of ICS/OT systems. Additional duties include research, classification and root cause analysis of security events.

Partner closely with the OT Cybersecurity Manager and Engineers to drive consistent OT cybersecurity practices at regional level. Perform OT asset discovery using monitoring platforms and support deployment of ICS/OT IDS solutions. Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with Automation Systems, Site Operations, Network and Cyber Security teams.

Work closely with data center teams to ensure cybersecurity controls do not impact uptime or resilience. Vantage is expanding with many new builds, enhancing focus on safeguarding data and infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. Requirements

  • Hands-on experience specifying, configuring and maintaining networking and server hardware with cybersecurity focus
  • Knowledge of ICS/OT environments and performing risk/vulnerability assessments
  • Experience leading hands-on implementation and configuration of enterprise ICS/OT systems
  • Skill in research, classification and root cause analysis of security events
  • Familiarity with OT monitoring platforms, passive monitoring tools and ICS/OT IDS solutions
  • Understanding of Secure Remote Access (SRA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Knowledge of industry frameworks including ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82 and NIST CSF
  • Security industry knowledge that evolves with current and emerging vulnerabilities and threats

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the OT Cybersecurity Manager and OT Cybersecurity Engineers to represent OT Cybersecurity at the regional level
  • Implement and manage Secure Remote Access (SRA) and/or Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions for third party access to OT environments
  • Perform OT asset discovery, inventory management, and risk classification using OT monitoring platforms
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments on OT assets and coordinate remediation activities with relevant teams
  • Support integration of OT security monitoring into SOC workflows, including alert tuning and playbook development
  • Work closely with data center teams to ensure cybersecurity controls do not impact uptime or operational resilience
  • Conduct Cybersecurity assessments of products and technologies under consideration prior to adoption
  • Perform OT Cybersecurity Risk assessments against best practices like ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NIST CSF
